A DANCA Media platform

About KINEX

KINEX is a private B2B movement licensing marketplace for choreographic works.

What KINEX is

It is where cleared, license-ready movement IP will be licensed directly, under bilateral agreements, when the marketplace opens in 2027.

On KINEX the product is a piece of movement, captured and sealed by LENS with its record attached, and every license is a direct agreement between the rights holder and the licensee.

KINEX is the marketplace, never a counterparty trading rights, and it is not an exchange, a trading venue, or a market for financial instruments or securities.

Who operates it

KINEX is operated by Stitchverse. Stitchverse is the ecosystem KINEX is part of, and the sales engine behind it. The Record Room, the Mirror Doorway, and the Body Atlas sit inside the same ecosystem. KINEX is a DANCA Media platform, and DANCA LLC owns the choreography IP. The DKA Framework, the structural blueprint and operational standard behind the system, is the proprietary intellectual property of DANCA LLC, and KINEX is operated from the United States.

How a record earns its place

A work earns its place in the catalog through capture and audit.

The work is captured in KINEX LENS and sealed at fixation, and every work enters the catalog through the Lens audit, the review the DKA Framework sets for it.

The audit checks five things:

the composition of the workthe quality of its capturethe clarity of its ownership from creator to catalogthe path taken when a rights holder cannot be reachedthe state of its copyright registration papers

The Lens works internally, and the Record Room is the public record of the works that pass its audit and are sealed.

The records in this room are the proof.

Finished work by choreographers outside the founding cohort enters through the admission audit, the same review in seven stages: identity verification, a provisional record, copyright eligibility, ownership, capture quality, a composition score, and the full seal and listing. A work that passes carries one of two seals. DKA Certified marks work implementing the full DKA Framework. KINEX Verified marks work that clears the same audit without the full Framework implementation. Certified work ranks first.

Built in-house

The capture technology behind KINEX is our own. The Lens is owned by DANCA Media LLC. The Lens, the instrument that records a performance and seals it at fixation, was designed and built in-house by DANCA Media, and it works internally only. Its public demonstration is the Mirror, where anyone can watch the capture run, and the Mirror keeps nothing. The audit reads the record the Lens seals, and a work earns its place in the catalog on that record.
