Privacy Policy
This policy explains how KINEX and DANCA Media handle information submitted through the institution application on the main page, the choreographer admission application, and direct inquiries by email. KINEX is a private B2B movement licensing marketplace. Licensing opens in 2027 and has not started.
The Mirror Doorway
The Mirror Doorway is a demonstration that runs in your browser, on your device. The page reads the points of your body from your camera feed and draws them back to you while you watch. No frames and no points are sent to KINEX, and KINEX stores nothing from a Mirror session and sees none of it.
At the end of a session you can save the session sheet. It is made on your device, and it exists only where you save it. KINEX never receives a copy. If you share the sheet, the service you share it to receives it from you, and that service's privacy policy governs it from that point. No video or motion file can be saved from a Mirror session.
Information you submit
The institution application on the main page asks for your full name and work email, which are required. Company or organization, institution type, licensing interest, and whether you are open to signing an NDA are optional. When you submit the form, that information is recorded in the KINEX database together with a reference code generated in your browser and the time of submission. Submitting the form sends the information to us. Nothing further is required from your email.
The choreographer page has a separate admission application. It asks for your full name and email, which are required. City or base, a link to the work you are submitting, and a short description of your practice are optional, and the application includes a rights declaration you confirm when you apply. Submissions are recorded in the same database system, in a separate table, together with a reference code generated in your browser, a marker showing that the submission came from the choreographer page, and the time of submission. Applying is admission intake into the seven-stage audit. It does not guarantee admission or listing. The permissions an admitted choreographer records in the audit, including whether AI training use is permitted, are kept with the work's record and enforced under stewardship.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them to respond.
How we use it
Application information is used only to review requests for founding cohort pre-access, in the order applications are received, to respond to the applicant, to prepare institutional onboarding for admitted institutions, to send updates about the marketplace opening and the catalog, and to keep the records those steps require.
Application information from choreographers is used only to run the admission audit, to respond to the applicant, and, for admitted works, to steward the listing, including enforcing the permissions recorded for the work.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell submitted information, and we do not share it for advertising. Submitted information is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, a service provider that stores the data on our behalf. Access is limited to the KINEX team through management tools. This website is hosted by Hostinger. Most pages on the site, including the main page, the record room, and this page, load fonts from Google Fonts. Hostinger and Google process standard connection data, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the site and its fonts, under their own terms. The choreographer page serves its fonts from this site and does not load Google Fonts. We may disclose information when required by law. Any later licensing relationship may involve additional agreements and notices.
Retention and security
Institution applications are kept through the founding cohort review and the public opening in 2027, and are reviewed after that. If the founding cohort is seated before an application is reviewed, the application stays on file for the public opening, as the application page states. Choreographer applications are kept while the audit runs and, for admitted works, while the work is listed and stewarded, and are reviewed after that. Email inquiries are kept while they are needed to respond and to keep a record of the exchange. You may ask for deletion at any time, as described under Your choices. We use reasonable safeguards, but internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted through either form, or in an email inquiry, by emailing info@stitchverse.net. Writing from the email address you submitted helps us find the right record. Including your reference code also helps. We will confirm when the correction or deletion is done. Deletion removes the record from our active database. Copies held by our service providers in ordinary backups and logs are removed under those providers' own cycles. We may keep information that law or legitimate recordkeeping requires, and we will say so if that applies to your request.
Cookies, local storage, and tracking
These pages set no cookies and run no analytics or tracking tools, and they do not use browser local storage.
Children
This site is for institutions and working choreographers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through a form, email info@stitchverse.net and we will delete it.
International visitors
KINEX is operated from the United States. If you visit this site or submit a form from another country, your information will be processed and stored in the United States and in other places where our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Submitting a form means you understand that your information will be handled as this policy describes.
Contact and changes
Questions about this policy may be sent to info@stitchverse.net. We may update this policy as KINEX develops. Updates are posted on this page, and the effective date above identifies the current version. Changes take effect when the updated version is posted. If an update makes a material change to how submitted information is handled, the new version will describe that change on this page.
